Holiday Portraits
The day before Thanksgiving, we spent an
afternoon at the portrait studio. We were
able to get some great pictures of Lincoln with
Papa, Granny, and Aunt Melissa. We were
sad that Daddy had to work, and couldn't be
in the pictures this year. It was a long afternoon,
but surprisingly Lincoln did very well. There
were no melt downs or tantrums. He hammed
it up for the photographer! Below are some
(well, a lot) of our favorite shots!

Showing off how big he's getting.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, thank you Caroline
for all of your help! It was delicious. Everybody anxiously
awaiting to dig in!

A picture of Melissa and me. We took this right before I
had to take her to the airport. Well, we wound up getting
to spend an extra day with her, because her flight had been
moved to an earlier time and she didn't get the email, and
therefore missed her flight.
It all worked out for the best! I am so glad
we got the extra time with (Besides the 6 am trip to
the airport on Friday morning! :)

A day at the Park
The weather was so nice Thanksgiving week, we decided
to spend some time at Desert Breeze park. Lincoln took Papa
for a ride on the carousel, one of his favorite things to do!
They both enjoyed themselves.

Tortilla Flats
We took a day trip to Tortilla Flats while Papa & Granny were
visiting. This is a picture of a camper that had gone down
the side of the mountain shortly before we were coming up.
We stopped briefly to take a few pictures, and see what
had happened. The trooper told us that the driver and
passengers had stopped to get out to take a picture, and the
parking break released. Lucky for them, nobody was in
the van when it rolled down the hill. But imagine watching
your camper roll down the mountain! yikes!
A view from a little further down the road.
On our way back down the mountain, we got stopped for
about 1/2 hour. There were 3 large tow trucks and police
cars blocking the road. There was quite a row of cars stopped
especially behind us. But, luckily we weren't stopped to long.
The tow trucks had used some cables to try to move the camper
towards a path that they had cleared. So they decided to let
some of the traffic through before they pulled the camper
out. I bet it was a long day for them!
Lincoln was very interested in what had happened. He kept saying
"oh no, truck fall! " What happen Mommy?" It was cute.
But for his sake, we were all really glad that we weren't stuck
any longer! It was starting to get cold, and we were ready for
some Go karting!!
