Welcome Family and Friends!!!

Welcome to the Chapman Family Blog!! I discovered that I am much more efficient at keeping the family photos up to date online than I am actually scrapbooking. It's nothing fancy, just a slice of life from the Chapman's in Arizona. Enjoy!

Aunt Melissa comes to town

At the beginning of February, Melissa and her boyfriend
Tanweer came to town for a night on their way to Tucson.
It was really good to see Melissa, and to meet Tanweer.

We took a day trip to the Wild Life World Zoo and Aquarium.
The zoo is smaller than the Phoenix zoo, but we were able
to get much closer to the animals. It was fun to watch
Lincoln get so excited to see and name all of the different animals.
The weather was perfect. It was a great day trip.

Below Lincoln is feeding the ducks at the entrance.

There were lots of tanks of critters to look at!

On a narrated boat ride around the zoo.

At the giraffe exhibit, there was an elevated platform to really
get close to the giraffes. There was "giraffe food" for sale, so
of course we had to get some and feed them. As soon as
the giraffes saw us on top of the platform, they were quick to come
and see us. They just knew we had food for them. :)

Ready for food!

Daddy helping Lincoln feed the hungry giraffe

The stingray exhibit was really neat. There
were lots of them swimming in the pool.
Ryan was the only one who would touch them though!

Lincoln still loves fishies, so he really got into
the fish in the big tank! He even picked out
Nemo and Dori.

He loved pointing out all the different color of fishies.

Every time I have ever seen an octopus, they are always
curled up in a corner of the tank. Until this guy... he opened
up and swam across his whole tank right in fron of us.
So, of course Ryan was being silly making faces, and Lincoln
was saying "oh no Daddy, move it, oh no!" It was a crack up!

Being silly at the gift shop.

Just a cheesin cute pic!
